15.1. Aggregation Test Case

Aggregation test case designed for PON. As a PON, there will be an aggregated interface and multiple LAN ports. All LAN ports will upstream to the aggregated port and downstream from the aggregated port to each LAN port.

The testbed setup is shown as in Fig. 15.1.

The Aggregation test case can be implemented by Xena2544 with Block topology + Bidirectional traffic.

  1. Select all the test ports.

  2. Choose Block topology and Bidirectional traffic.

  3. Assign one port (aggregation port) to a group, and the others (LAN ports) the other group.
