Layer-1 Control

Layer-1 control in Traffic Generation refers to the management and configuration of the physical layer aspects of a network port. This includes settings such as speed, duplex mode, and other physical characteristics that affect how data is transmitted over the network.

Layer-1 Control in Traffic Genration is not the same as Layer 1 (L1). The Layer-1 Control commands in Traffic Generation are specific to the traffic generator’s port and its capabilities, while the commands in Layer 1 (L1) are focusing on Layer-1 features such as PCS,
