ARP/NDP Addres Table

When multiple streams are configured on a port, each with a unique source IP address and source MAC address, the port uses the ARP/NDP Address Table to respond to incoming ARP/NDP requests. The commands in this section allow you to view and modify entries in the ARP/NDP Address Table.

If only a single stream is configured on the port and its source IP address and source MAC address match the port’s IP and MAC address, the ARP/NDP Address Table is not required, as the port can respond to ARP/NDP requests directly using its own configured addresses.
