Different Types Of Xena Configuration Files

Xena test applications keep their configurations in special file formats with an application-specific extension. The extensions used are as follows:

.vmcfg	XenaManager configuration file in JSON format.	It contains information of the added chassis, UI settings, selected testbed, and used ports. But it doesn’t recreate the streams on the port.
.v2544	Xena2544 configuration in JSON format.	It contains information of the added chassis, UI settings, selected testbed, used ports, and test configuration.
.v3918	Xena3918 configuration in JSON format.	It contains information of the added chassis, UI settings, selected testbed, used ports, and test configuration.
.v2889	Xena2889 configuration in JSON format.	It contains information of the added chassis, UI settings, selected testbed, used ports, and test configuration.
.v1564	Xena1564 configuration in JSON format.	It contains information of the added chassis, UI settings, selected testbed, used ports, and test configuration.
.xtc2	XenaManager Testcase (testbed) configuration file in Xena scripting API format.	It contains the configuration of the ports, streams on the ports. If you are to recreate your testbed (ports, streams), you should use Operations > Save Testcase in XenaManager.
.xtc1	Legacy configuration file of XenaManager Testcase (testbed).	Replaced by .xtc2 already.
.xpc	XenaManager Port configuration in Xena scripting API format.	It saves all information of a port including the streams on it.
