ANLT

ANLT includes two modes: operation mode and testing mode.

Operation mode is designed for provisioning the traffic test setup, while testing mode is designed for testing the ANLT protocol itself.

Testing mode is a superset of operation mode, as it includes all features of operation mode and adds additional features for testing and debugging the ANLT protocol.

However, operation mode and testing mode use different CLI command sets, as they are designed for different purposes.

• ANLT Operation Mode command set is prefixed with PP. For example, PP_AUTONEG.

• ANLT Testing Mode command set is prefixed with PL1. For example, PL1_AUTONEG.

Important

You should not mix the two modes, as it may lead to confusion and potential misconfiguration. Always use either of the two command sets consistently based on your testing needs.
