The output of the Layer-1 Event Logging is called the Layer-1 Event Log. It contains a chronological record of all captured events, including their timestamps.

Each log entry contains the following information:

• Event Type: The type of event that occurred (e.g., link sync, link down, error).

• Event Condition: The specific condition or state change that triggered the event (e.g., rising edge, falling edge).

• Lane Index: The specific lane index associated with the event. For port-level events, this will be zero.

• Timestamp: The time at which the event occurred, with sub-nanosecond precision.
